The Water Temple, also known as Tambomachay, is located just outside of Cusco, Peru. The Incas believed that the temple was a source of fertility and life, and it was likely used for important ceremonies and rituals related to water and agriculture.

The temple may have also served as a reservoir for the city's water supply, ensuring a reliable source of water for the people of Cusco. It consists of a series of aqueducts, canals, and cascades that were used for ceremonial purposes by the Inca. The site is known for its impressive hydraulic engineering, with water channels that still function today.
